The stylish black Sam4s ER-265 has been a successful product. However it is a very simple limited register. Now available is the ER-285M with many upgraded features over the ER-265. First of all, the new sylish Sam4s ER-285M electronic cash register brings new color and style to the cash register industry. Generally cash registers have been a beige or ivory color. Many businesses have desired a more aesthetically pleasing register to blend in with their environment or to maintain a cleaner look. The ER-285M brings style and functionality at a low price.
The ER-285M features a 15 dept spill-resistant keyboard which is perfect for restaurants or bar applications, a full size cash drawer with media slot, a high speed low maintenance thermal printer to decrease transaction time and an RS232 communications port to interface with a PC or a remote printer. Although there is only one built-in printer, the cash register keeps an electronic journal which can be printed at the end of day.
The ER-285M advantages over the ER-265 include, 10,000 PLU's, SD card slot for saving the program as a back-up, ability to add a com board to add 2 additional RS232 ports to interface to various perhiperals, scanning capability, credit card interfacing, LCD display, and media slot in the cash drawer.
The optional software allows programming via the PC with the ability to store the program file as a secure back-up. Import graphic logos via the software to customize your receipts. Upload sales reports at the end of day for easy viewing and storage.
