Datacap IP Tran LT (broadband only) is required for Sam4s cash registers with credit card interface.The IP Tran LT does not have a credit card swipe. A remote/interfaced credit card terminal with EMV chip is required.

Either a Verifone VX-805 or Ingenico IPP-320 must be connected to the IP Tran LT to process credit cards.

The IP Tran LT is a small-footprint, low-cost IP-based integrated payments device for Point of sale and cash register applications. IP Tran Lt provides POS applications with the ability to process credit, debit and fit transactions directly to virtually all payment processors in North America via one, simple interface without per-transaction gateway fees.

Flexible Installation

The  ability to easily connect a Verifone VX-805 card reader with EMV capability to the IP Tran LT, creates a simple and flexible payment  processing application. The Verifone VX-805 connects into the IP Tran LT which in turn connects to the electronic cash register. Everything is integrated to simplify and streamline operations while ensuring accurate credit card data is processed the first time eliminating double entry errors commonly found on standalone credit card terminals that are not  interfaced directly to the cash register.

Out-of-Scope Payments

Because Datacap interfaces the IP Tran LT directly to the VX-805, no cardholder data comes into contact with the cash register system, resulting in an Out-of-Scope solution. No PA-DSS validation necessary if IP Tran LT is driving the card-entry device.

Cloud-Based Management

Applications are configured via Datacap's cloud-based product management portal, PSCS and then loaded into the IP Tran LT via patented AutoLoad or NoLoad  technologies, allowing for simple plug and play implementation/support.
