PAX S300 is the latest integrated retail payment solution for multi-lane merchants who wish to offer high levels of transaction security combined with contactless, e-Signature, magnetic stripe and Chip & PIN. The PAX S300 is compatible with Casio electronic cash registers (ECR). An RS232 cable is added to enable communications between a low cost reliable cash register and the sophisticated S300. The S300 is equipped with the latest technology needed for processing credit cards. The PAX S300 features a card swipe along the side, EMV slot along the bottom and integrated NFC communications. This is what enables payment via Apple Pay, Android Pay, MasterCard PayPass and Visa payWave.
If you are using gift cards, that is no problem. The S300 can swipe gift cards to either process them and to add money to the card. This is all setup through your merchant provider, but the PAX is capable of utilizing this feature.
